MY Baking & Cooking JOURNEY
From when I could hold a spatula to sharing my food on a video channel.
My first memory of baking dates back to when I was in kindergarten. I was my mom's helper when she made Chiffon cakes. I still remember the round cake tins and the eggy, vanilla smell of the cake batter—one of the best smells ever.
Looking back, that was probably the start of my journey.
Smelling cake batter became a little ritual; it was my litmus test to see if I'd mixed everything correctly.
I remember baking on weekends, specifically in the afternoon because that was when I had the kitchen to myself.
